Start with a clear purpose
Decide what the wheel is choosing before adding options. A wheel works best when every listed outcome is acceptable and each line represents one equal chance.
1. Add your choices
Type or paste one choice per line. Blank lines are ignored. Use the duplicate-removal button when repeated entries are accidental, or enable duplicate choices only when repetition is intentional.
2. Review the list
Read the list before spinning. For a name draw, confirm spelling and eligibility. For a classroom activity, make sure each option is suitable for the group.
3. Choose your settings
Select a short, normal or long spin. Sound and confetti are optional. The “Remove winner automatically” setting is useful when you need several different results from the same list.
4. Spin the wheel
Press the center button, the main Spin button or the Space bar when you are not typing. The tool prevents a second spin until the first animation finishes.
5. Use the result
Copy the result, remove it from the wheel, spin again or open the history panel. The latest twenty results are stored locally in the browser.
6. Save, share or export
Save a named wheel for the same browser, generate a share link for a reasonably sized list, or export a JSON backup. Imported files are validated and treated as data rather than executable code.
Important limitation
Browser storage belongs to the current browser and device. Clearing site data, using private browsing or changing devices can remove local saves, so export important wheel configurations.
